Back in February I decided I needed to take some sort of a test to see which foods I was intolerant to. It had been almost 6 years since I had last been tested and the body changes quite a bit in just a year alone…so, it was time. I did a bit of research and finally landed on Pinner Test, one of the most accurate at-home Food Intolerance Testing Kits. I mean, if I don’t have to leave home to go to some creepy building to get blood tests, AND it’s still accurate, count me in! (Jk about the creepy building..maybe haha.) On February 6th, I received my Pinner Test and went straight to testing this bad boy out. I’m sure all of you are keen to know about how this whole ordeal went…right? Well, before we get into that, let’s chat about what Pinner Test is and how it works.
Live Inspired Organics; hand-crafted, body care created out of a passion cultivated in the belief that behind every superior product, there is a powerful story – now I can get behind that!
A story of all-natural, no harm and organic beauty as told by each beautiful ingredient.
So, what’s the story behind Live Inspired? Well, it’s pretty simple really – aren’t those the best kind of stories anyhow? ;) – nourishing, healing and renewing products are a result of the use of superior all-natural, pure and organic ingredients. These incredible ingredients, combined with all of the love and gratitude that’s poured into the products made make this company really stand out. Gina, their founder, is one of the sweetest souls! We’re all aware that the holidays are just around the corner…I mean, I think everyone decided to go Christmas crazy really early this year. It seems like all of my friends posts and videos are of Christmas decor or music! Just me? But for real, I’ll blink and the next thing I know it’s Christmas morning (LOL..)! Ok, I promise, I am going to keep the intro to this post simple, just like the gift guide. If you are wanting some ideas for gifts this year, here are some products/brands I have been loving and I personally think would make a lovely gift! Annnnnd 1, 2, 3…go!

Hello lovelies! I have for you something a bit different today – it isn’t a review, however it is very relevant to the last review I did regarding Bali Botanic. Before I got into Essential Oils, I did a lot of research on them, figuring out what oils were best for your health/skin issues and more…of course that helped me out a bit, but there were (and still are) a lot of questions I had. As you know, we never stop learning and EO’s never cease to amaze me with their medicinal and therapeutic powers.
Essential oils are volatile liquids distilled from plants and organic matter like seeds, flowers, fruit, stems, bark, roots, and leaves. They can be used to heal and support your body’s emotional and physical well-being, typically entering the body in three ways. Application to the skin using a compress, a spray, a bath, or massage; they can be inhaled using a diffuser, dry evaporation, steam, or a spray; and they can be ingested either orally or by suppository. (Please take caution and note that the ingestion of essential oils is only recommended under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.)
Essential oils have always been my thing. Whether it be for a great nights sleep, to help me kick a cold, for purification purposes, to aches and pains. EO’s are the best! I’ve tried many different oils, but lavender is definitely one of my favourites. It’s funny because you think, “Oh all lavender oils are going to smell the same…” – wrong! I have totally noticed a difference in essential oils and their scent/potency through out different brands.
