Sometimes you just don’t want to put anything on your face, but you still want to look good. That can be a bit of a dilemma, right? Cus, like, you need something… but don’t want to look too put together.
I got you, girl! This makeup look is easy, mainly because you don’t need any foundation, just a bit of cover-up (if you need it) and some easy peasy touches here and there. Of course green beauty can be glam, but it’s nice once in awhile to go “au naturale” and feel good in your own skin—amirite ladies!? Read on to find out more on how to achieve this easy look!
STEP 1
Cleanse and exfoliate your skin. I love the Fitglow Calm Cleansing Milk (HULLOSAM for 15% off) (always been a fave over the years) and ELDE Cosmetics Enzyme Treatment is amazing for gentle exfoliation. It’s a treatment mask that features both physical and chemical exfoliation. It’s infused with gentle fruit enzymes, so if you’re sensitive like me, it won’t dehydrate or irritate your skin.
STEP 2
Prime your eyes! This is imperative if you’re not putting much on your skin (like foundation). The reason is that the oils from our skin really start livin’ it up when our skin breathes. What I’m trying to say is no powder shadows on your lids means oils surface even easier. The Alima Pure Eye Primer is awesome for preparing the skin for long-lasting eye makeup—which, in our case, we’re not doing much of (you’ll see below). What’s great about this Eye Primer is that it also minimizes the appearance of fine lines and uneven skin, it promotes skin regeneration and protects the delicate eye area with nourishing natural ingredients like olive-derived squalane, shea butter, and clary sage water.
STEP 3
Conceal (if needed). If you get red in certain areas, as I do, then you’ll be glad you did. Plus, any spots can be easily covered with this Hynt Beauty Duet Concealer! (I’m the shade Fair.) This concealer is creamy and super concentrated! It covers like a dream, so you only need the teeniest bit! It’s soothing, color-corrects, and covers acne, age spots, and dark circles. It’s truly amazing!
STEP 4
Blushhhhh! The beauty in this step is that the product being used—the W3LL PEOPLE Universalist Multi-Use Stick in Nude Flush—will also double as a lip tint! This blush is a beautiful warm, natural flush. Like all W3LL PEOPLE products, it contains amazing organic ingredients that nourish, heal, and hydrate such as organic aloe, and organic chamomile, and green tea. Apply it on the apples of your cheeks and blend outward. A little goes a long way, so make sure to start with just a bit on your finger to blend onto your cheeks. For the lip tint, just dab the colour onto your lips for a bit of peachy prettiness!
STEP 5
Time to get that glow (or enhance the one you may already have!) I love the Kjaer Weis Radiance Highlighter. I apply it on the inner corners of my eyes, the highest point of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and Cupid’s bow. What I love about this highlighter is it melts into the skin and really gives you the most beautiful “radiant” glow. With incredible, organically farmed ingredients such as Sweet Almond Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Rosa Rubiginosa Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin A, and Carnauba Wax… this isn’t your typical highlighter cream. It’s going to moisturize, promote supple skin, and even help prevent aging!
STEP 6
Get that sun goddess look to go with that glow with W3ll People Universalist Multi-Use Colorstick in Bronzed Rose. This is a beautiful warm, bronzy rose that gives the appearance of sun-kissed with a bit of colour! I apply this on in the hollows of my cheeks, around my forehead, and a bit on my nose, and then blend it out with my fingers—but you could also use a Kjaer Weis Blush Brush which was created as an alternative to finger application. The brush is vegan and has dermatologically tested hypoallergenic synthetic fibers, so it’s soft and gentle on the skin.
STEP 7
Mascara (if you wish—as goes anything on here), by the lovely Hynt Beauty. Their Nocturne Mascara can be used lightly on the lashes to open them up a bit more and give a more defined eye. With soothing, organic ingredients such as Chamomile Hydrosol and Lavender Flower extract, this mascara is amazing for sensitive eyes.
That’s it! You’re lookin’ fresh, your skin is breathing and you’re ready to take on the day! Let me know which products you enjoy the most for a no-makeup makeup look in the comments below. Happy creating!
