Artist of The Week – Seinabo Sey

Seinabo Sey has, for whatever reason (actually, all the possible positive reasons that attribute this single), made it impossible for me not to play this “Younger” track repeatedly. There is something quite special about this Swedish singer’s debut single that really moves you. It’s enlightening, and in essence, uplifting; the mixture of Seinabo’s powerful vocals, the catchy pop melody, and it’s epic symphonic, trance-infused sonics…create this one-of-a-kind legendary (in my opinion) single.

 

This is one of the prettier music videos I’ve watched in awhile. I love how the song and video congruently capture the essence of youth. The simplicity in just enjoying life. The sunlight, nature, friends, laughter and the little things. It’s perfect.
