Petit Vours November 2016 Beauty Box

I am enamoured with this months Petit Vour Beauty Box! It’s full of amazing, gorgeous products that will have your skin singing, even in this cooler weather!

I’ve recently been enjoying the monthly switch-up of illustrators for the description card that comes in each beauty box. The drawings are beautiful, no matter who the illustrator is – every time! This month, the design is by the wonderfully talented @daniellekroll. I particularly love the colour scheme! Pretty pops of red and blue, alongside pinks and other more muted shades. Danielle drew some classic cosmetics and skincare products lining two shelves. I think it’s the cutest thing – I’d personally blow this image up and hang it as a print in my bathroom! (Hmm, maybe I will…)

I am going to be starting off with the first product I especially was excited about, seeing as how I’ve heard many great things about this company….

I Love Eyes Tea Tree Eyelid & Eyelash Makeup Remover Oil:  If you know me, you know that I am a stickler for always taking off my makeup before bed. ALWAYS. Eye makeup is no exception! Sleeping in your eye makeup is actually a terrible, unsanitary habit and it’s also a common source of eyelid inflammation. With minimal ingredients like organic jojoba seed oil,  grape seed oil and tea tree oil…this gentle, all-natural product will remove all eyeliner, mascara, glitter, you name it! Even if it’s waterproof! It also benefits contact-wearers by protecting and soothing your eye so that it is less irritated, therefore making contact-lens wearing more comfortable. (My poor little sensitive eyes love this.)

HOW TO USE: This is only for external use. First, make sure your hands are washed. If you’re wearing contacts, be sure to take them out. Next, place 3 drops of the remover on a cotton swab and gently press onto your eyelid & eyelash area. Gently and carefully scrub the base of the lash allowing your makeup to dissolve. Repeat on the other eye and you’ll have a clean, hydrated and softer eye area.

Ellovi Body Scrub: This is the newest addition to the Ellovi product line! It’s a Jasmine Rose Body Scrub that is sure to keep your skin feeling baby bottom smooth and smelling divine! I love that this is made with just six wholesome and clean ingredients – so pure you could eat them! (But really.) Not only that but it’s also available in Blossom, Ginger Lemon, Original and Mint Chocolate – YUM!

HOW TO USE: Take a small amount of the scrub and on damp or wet skin, start scrubbing away. Rinse with water, or wash off with a cloth and reveal smooth, soft skin!

W3ll People Realist Invisible Setting Powder: Get your polished, soft-focus look on with this clear, weightless, all-natural mineral powder. Realist Invisible Setting Powder can be used alone to minimize pores and control shine, or worn over foundation to set it for ultra-long wear.
