Petit Vour’s May Beauty Box!

Happy June 1st and welcome to my new updated blog! What better way to ring in my birthday month (woo!) but with last month’s Petit Vour Beauty Box…haha. I know, I’m always a bit late on these. But, this will just give you another taste of how amazing these monthly beauty box subscriptions truly are – then you’ll just have to sign up for June’s box…and all the other months ahead! ;)

Okie dokes, so what’d I get in my May box? There were some great goodies, (per usual) and it was a particularly special box because it was PV‘s 3rd Anniversary! So, let’s check it out!

ECCO BELLA Good For You Gloss “Power” I mean, I had to start it off with a favourite! This lip shade is a rich berry colour – totally gorgeous! The gloss is pure, shiny, silky smooth in texture and is never greasy or heavy. I love that the gloss has an applicator tube that features a built-in mirror. It isn’t like an amazing, full-sized mirror or anything…but it’s better than no mirror at all. ;) Gluten free, FD & C dye-free, naturally-preserved, and vegan…this stuff is just awesome.

URSA MAJOR Fortifying Face Balm This was an extra sample item that I also received last month (sometimes this happens – but I ain’t mad about it – I love it!). Check out my description of it on April’s post.

CAPTAIN BLANKENSHIP Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray This stuff is texturizing, moisturizing, and totally smells like you walked through a beachy rose garden (it contains Organic Essential Oils of Rose Geranium and Palmarosa)!  It contains Atlantic Sea Salt which will add texture and gentle beach waves to hair, it also contains Organic Aloe Vera which provides the added moisture and light hold to your hair, and last but not least Organic Sea Kelp Extract, which is naturally rich in beneficial minerals and vitamins will provide nourishment to both your hair and scalp! It’s also so easy to use: shake it well, spray it in your damp or dry hair from roots to end, scrunch with your fingers and style ’til you achieve the beachiest waves you can get. ;)

JUICE BEAUTY GREEN APPLE Peel, Blemish Clearing I was pretty stoked seeing that this product was in May’s beauty box! I have a fascination with Juice Beauty products. Some of the time, they don’t work on me…some of the time they do. This one was lovely! It’s an “award winning” peel – ooh la la! This peel is basically meant to supercharge the blemish clearing process by exfoliating you to even skin tone and texture. It contains aloe, vitamins and antioxidants that will give you that clear, smooth complexion while still hydrating your face. I use it after cleansing in the evening, then, I apply a thick layer to my entire face (avoiding my eyes of course) and I leave it on for 10 minutes (it dries clear). After that, I rinse it off well and apply my favourite serum and/or moisturizer. It’s quite refreshing and I love the way my skin feels after I use it!

I’d say May was a great month, no? Of course I am already itching to receive June’s Box! I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but I will always recommend this beauty box! $15.00 per month, cancel at any time, earn PV points for shopping and even get full sized versions of your faves!? My sister and I are both obsessed with Chef’s Table…apparently this is one of the composers or THE composer (?), Duncan Thum and he’s brilliant! I love it all, but this track is beautiful!
