The Perfect Bags for the On-The-Go Gal

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been looking for a cute, lightweight bag for EONS that doesn’t contribute to annoyingly painful shoulders at the end of the day (or after a few hours tbh). Anyone? You know that heavy crossbody or handbag that constantly nags your shoulders and gives you a backache? LADIES, YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKIN’ ABOUT!

I wanted a small bag that was efficient, lightweight, but also one that I could store my wallet items in – large order, no? Nope, not for Lo + Sons and thank goodness for them! Ethically* and sustainably made, this new Waverley Belt-Bag/Crossbody has been such a game changer. I literally never reach for any other purse! Want to know more about it? (‘Course you do!)

THE WAVERLEY*

I picked out the Sienna Exterior / Gold Hardware / Camel Interior mainly because…DROOOOL. LOL, jk but not really.

This bag can be worn as a crossbody, a wristlet, a shoulder bag, and even a belt bag (aka a stylish fanny pack). I know, I know…could it get any better? Actually, yes, yes it can.

*The Waverly has been upgraded recently to The Waverly 2. Same design, just a bit of a different interior that holds cards within a zippered pocket so it’s more secure.

So, aside from being able to wear it four ways – the adjustable strap allows The Waverley to convert from a crossbody to a shoulder bag, wristlet, and even a belt bag for a true hands-free convenience. IT HAS POCKETS! HALLELUJAH! But not just any pockets, pockets for the perfect travel essentials: 3 card pockets and 1 large slip pocket for a passport, keys, coins, or small personal items. Oh, and this cutie pie (and utterly amazing bag) is thoughtfully and meticulously crafted from world-class materials; a smooth buttery soft Nappa leather. The interior is lined with Lo + Sons signature hummingbird poly jacquard – THE CUTEST!

Above is what I typically carry in my bag – including my iPhone if I’m feelin’ reeeeeally hands-free lol. All of my essentials! My business cards, the one and only (and favourite) Osmia Lip Doctor, OLIKA’s Birdie Hand Sanitizer, Crunchi’s My Alibi Concealer in Light, business + personal credit cards, drivers license, Vapour’s Lip Velvet in Lavish (Sold out because it was limited edition.), a comb (cus you never know when you need to slick your hair back lol), ILIA Beauty’s Lip Crayon in Push It, the most amazing Muji fine tipped pen and Andalou Natural’s Kukui Cocoa Nourishing Body Butter (I use it for hand cream too) which smells like vanilla sugar cookies! Pretty impressive, right!?

I hiiiiighly, like VERY HIGHLY recommend this purse! It’s pretty incredible, versatile and light (did I mention it weighs .5lbs empty?) and super cute on! (See photo below ;))
