This cute little brand was Founded by Sapna Gandhi, who started Biba Cosmetics in 2015 after being diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder that prompted her to explore natural alternatives for what she put in and on her body.
Biba Lips created a signature tinted lip creme that is made of 100% natural and finest botanicals, essential oils, natural waxes, and romantic aromas. Some of the ingredients are: kokum butter, rose hip oil infusion, green tea extract, jojoba seed oil + natural aromas. They are also free of parabens, phthalates, silicon, dyes or synthetic wax.
I just love the two shades I received! Elegant Red: “A deep red pout will make you feel regal. Sensuous Plum red gives the hint of a little make-up, with a chic, polished finish to it.”
- Universally flattering on a all skin tones.
- A beautiful, classic reddish plum color.
- Velvety finish creates a sophisticated, polished look.
Elegant Red Clarity Nude
And the other shade, Clarity Nude: “A hint of clarity to give you hope. Clarity is a beautiful nude that completes a natural, yet polished look.”
- The perfect nude-beige to use when creating a pale, neutral lip.
- Velvety finish.
My lips feel so nourished when I wear it..it’s lovely. What I really love about this brand is their sophisticated, elegant and luxurious look and feel. Each tinted lip creme is packaged beautifully (seen below) and accompanied with an eco-friendly luxury gold compact – I mean…classy or what?! – a makeup pouch, and lip applicator. Yes, an adorable little lip applicator! I can’t stand it. They thought of it all!
Last but not least, Biba’s lip cremes are 100% non-toxic and made in the U.S. – by women for women. What’s not to love?!
