Bonjour! I am baaaack!

Hello beauties! Ladies, and gents!

I’m aware, I’m aware…I’ve been gone for FOREVER. Like, really, forever…it’s been way too long. BUT, in the process of this little M.I.A ordeal (not the singer, the acronym), I have had time to really plan on where I’ve been wanting this blog to go to next. Next? Like, i.e.:

See, that’s what I’ve been struggling with! CONTENT. Content that I actually feel excited to post about, excited to share and talk about! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE MUSIC (duh..it’s muh life). However, I also love beauty. Cosmetics. Skincare. Pharmaceuticals. Makeup reviews. Makeup tips…etc, etc. I have a passion for it. It’s kinda outta control sometimes….but hey, that’s what passion is right? Errr…right.

As you all know (or may know), I am a freelance makeup artist (weddings, fun styled shoots etc). So, makeup is something I actually do on occasion. I love it! It’s a chance for me to use my artistic talents, think outside of the box, play around, relax (it’s therapeutic for me) and have fun. If there is one thing any of my friends or family would tell you about me, it’d be that I am a walking mini store (and possibly even encyclopedia) for makeup, lipsticks, and other beauty products. I constantly have swatches on my hand or arm, two or more lipsticks in my purse – actually, I think at one point I may have had like a whole mini case FULL of lipsticks and glosses (11 to be exact). I love giving advice on how to apply makeup, what to wear…what not to wear, what’s healthy for your skin, what isn’t so healthy and so on. Again, like I said, PASSION. It’s real.

So, alas, here we are. Where are you going with this Sammie, you may ask? Exactly where I want to. This blog will be filled with beauty items, reviews, photos of #whatsinmypurse, #makeuptipswithsammie, occasional giveaways, tips on what to look for when purchasing makeup, tips on how to save money while doing so, luxury items, quality items, organic and holistic care (cus LAWD knows I love me some of that) and THEN – BAM – your classic A Musical Mind playlist of sorts to go along with the mood of the day/week/month! Or, just my faves at the moment. Implementing the two things I love and am passionate about: makeup and music. What could be better? Makeup, music and unending sushi? Duh. Okay, okay, but really. Hope you all like what’s comin’ for ya! I’m excited. Stay tuned, kids. The best is yet to come!
