Skin, skin, skinnnnn! It’s what’s in right now, no? Luminous, dewy, hydrated and plump skin! I’m all about it..the glowier, the better. But we need to work on achieving that skin and it, of course, starts with being well-hydrated, well-fed (eating organic, whole foods, low to no sugar – easier said than done for me lol) and getting our rest! These factors are so key! But then comes in the next most important part: skincare to maintain it all! So, I figured what better way to share about that than give you my updated skincare routine to get the ball rollin’? It’s what has helped me keep my skin in tip-top shape, including keeping blemishes at bay, my face as soft as a baby’s bottom (ok ok, not quite, but pretty close), and brightening my under eyes..along with so many other benefits.
I will preface, my skin is not your skin. I’m dry, with a tendency to be oily in the t-zone. So sometimes I’m a bit combo-ish. Not everything that works for me will work for you…so, if you can keep that in mind, then we can get started! ;)
It’s been awhile since I chat about skincare on here. Like, truly went in depth and shared with you why I don’t typically switch up my skincare routine often, if at all. But let me say, IF and when I do add new products to my regimen, it’s gotta be good. I mean, everything I talk about or promote is going to be stinkin’ good – and I’m going to support it 100% – but with skincare, I’m even more specific. Not only cus it’s my delicate, sensitive skin and it’s basically me bathing in it…lol but also I’m implementing something new into my daily/nightly ritual and I want it to be effective and really wow me.
Sometimes we just can’t find the time to head to the beach each weekend—especially if you live 3 hours away like myself! I’m also not a huge fan of the pool… so how the heck am I going to get my tan on this summer? Good question. I’ve got an answer (and it’s not propping yourself up in a skin-damaging tanning bed!). Instead? Self-tanner!
I’ll be real, for the longest time, I was a makeup girl. Skincare always came second for me…until one day, (quite some time ago) I realized that skincare was essential for healthy, beautiful glowing skin. The canvas to express my makeup looks on…it had to be prepped right, and with the best of the best ingredients!
So, with that being said, I wanted to share my top green skincare products! I’ve broken them down into categories, starting with my first routine – cleansing, and then the rest of the products consecutively follow!
