I’m always on the hunt for new, safe and clean cosmetics, skincare, body care–ALL THE CARE, basically–that I haven’t tried, and will leave me thinking “WOW! This is goooood!”. With that being said, I recently had the chance to connect with Mimi, the owner of Joy Provisions: an all–natural, luxury beauty shop. I’ve had many opportunities to work with clean beauty shops, all of which were (and still are) awesome! So, what sets apart Joy Provisions from the rest? Well first off, Mimi is the warmest, sweetest lady! She is down to earth, so sweet and incredibly professional. There’s something to be said about someone who can be friendly, relational and professional at the same. I feel like it can be a rare trait to find! I also love her company mission:
“Support is a big thing. Not everything deserves yours. We only pick the products that truly do.”
Welcome back to the second part of my skincare routine! Today we’re chatting about my Evening Skincare Routine. My end of the day, get-ready-for-bed, winding down skincare regimen is fairly simple…although my husband Davey would probably say it takes forever! Haha, it’s true though, I love to take my time with skincare. Cleansing and massaging and masking…it’s truly my favourite part of the day. If you read my Morning Skincare Routine, then you know all about my skin type, issues and all that fun stuff.
Here I am again, back at it with another Beauty Box from Petit Vour! I know, I know…I’m late…but hey, no worries because this post should give you a little taste of how awesome these monthly beauty box subscriptions truly are – then you’ll just have to sign up for next months box….and the following months ahead! ;) Never heard of Petit Vour? PV is a monthly subscription box that hosts some amazing non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free beauty products…for only $15! Each box comes packed with four deluxe-sized (and sometimes full-sized) products – which, I think is an awesome deal. Not to mention, you’ll discover some wonderful new brands that are safe for your face, body and more! Oh, and of course it comes with the cutest little description card, describing all of the products within the box – along with the perfect illustration by Mia Charro(which so happens to be an adorable mermaid print, for the month of June!) Love it!
Happy June 1st and welcome to my new updated blog! What better way to ring in my birthday month (woo!) but with last month’s Petit Vour Beauty Box…haha. I know, I’m always a bit late on these. But, this will just give you another taste of how amazing these monthly beauty box subscriptions truly are – then you’ll just have to sign up for June’s box…and all the other months ahead! ;)
I’ve had so many inquiries lately on my skincare routine – I’ve shared it with a few in e-mails, direct messages or even within my Instagram comments…but it’s about time I let you all in on it. ;) So, this is the first post of a two-part skincare series. Today, I’ll be covering my morning skincare routine!
It’s been a little while since I fully reviewed (on here) one of my favourite Beauty Boxes…since November actually! If you’re new to Petit Vour, well you’re in for a treat! This monthly subscription box is really special! It not only lets you in on some amazing non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free beauty products…but for only $15, each box comes packed with four deluxe-sized (and sometimes full-sized) products. It’s an awesome deal, and you’ll discover some awesome new brands that are safe for your face, body and more! Oh, and of course it comes with the cutest little description card, describing all of the products within the box – along with the perfect illustration by Mia Charro. Win/win!
Haaaaappy Monday lovelies! It’s been awhile. Between prepping for marriage, the actual wedding, the honeymoon and getting back and settled into my new home with my new HUSBAND…things have been a bit hectic! But I’m here, aren’t I? :)
Today’s post is something I’ve really grown to appreciate and love. A facial mist! But not just any facial mist…Maya Water Facial Mist: a clean, mineral-rich and pH neutral thermal spa water mist from Skogshorn in Hemsedal, Norway. I mean…you had me at Norway! But in all seriousness, this unique, high-end facial mist truly does wonders to the skin. With added active antioxidants ranging from white tea, goji and acai. It revitalizes, protects and cleanses dry, tired skin. Who needs that? I do! Especially with my recent traveling to Paris for our honeymoon – an 8 hour flight there – my skin was parched. I sprayed a little of the White Tea Mist and I felt refreshed, dewy and even recharged!
